You know those things that become a ritual of sorts? Every season has them. They are the things that we fall back into when the seasons change. And those seasons, they like to change. The husband and I seem to have two rituals as of late that are very telling of how we feel about summer arriving.
1.) Over half of our grocery run last night was in the form of fruit.
2.) We always end up taking a long walk in the evening. Sometimes a bike ride.
I'm not sure what it is about fruit and being outside long into the evening that makes summer feel so very near. But, for this house, these two things appear every summer. We are predictable like that.
What are some of your summer ritual of sorts that keep on appearing?
